What Christians Do
« on: February 07, 2012, 06:53:08 AM »
I thought it might be good to start a thread to list some of the things that Christians do in the world to maybe help those that contend against Christians understand that without us the world would be a lot less of a place.

Mercy Ships - bringing hope and healing around the world

Voice of the Martyrs - helping the maimed and survivors of those martyred in the name of Jesus around the world.

Freeing of slaves, enslaved by Muhammad's followers in Africa.

I don't know much about his organization, but the Christian interviewed in the video is Dr. John Eibner

The Barnabas Fund (focused on helping persecuted Christians - persecution your local news won't tell you about)

Foundation for His Ministry.  I've been to these missions and they are nothing short of miraculous.

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Teams respond to areas where natural disasters have occurred. In the aftermath of Katrina, they supplied food and water to workers and residents who lost their supply, and did far more reconstruction and assistance than FEMA even thought about. Same with last year's hurricane in New York City, which name escapes me at the moment. They were on the scene in Tuscaloosa and other areas hit by the 2011 and 2012 tornados, and have also gone out of the country to areas where their services were needed.

Crews from Calvary Chapel were still helping clean up and rebuild, years after the Katrina.
Isn't it amazing that the tropical depression formed, as the last of the Jews were being forced out of Gaza? Just another such "coincidence", that happened after "Eye to Eye" was written so it isn't included:
